The prize winner of III Byulbyul Competition, baritone Elchin Azizov has sung Iago in Otello (Big Hall of Moscow Conservatory, Vladimir Fedoseev, conductor), Gryaznoy in The Tsar’s Bride (Bolshoi Theatre, Tallinn, London), Ibn-Hakia in Iolanta (Bolshoi Theatre, Dresden and Warsaw on tour, Theater an der Wien), Amonasro in Aida (Santiago de Chile). His upcoming engagements include Scarpia in Tosca, Shchelkalov in Boris Godunov, Macbeth in Macbeth, Germont in La Traviata (all at Bolshoi Theatre), Ibn-Hakia in Iolanta (Metropolitan Opera, New York), Conte di Luna in Il Trovatore (Opera de Limoges), Germont in La Traviata (Komische Oper Berlin), and High Priest of Dragon in Samson et Dalila (Teatro dell’Opera Rome). 

The laureate of V Competition of Buylbuyl and the winner of the Hope of Azerbaijan prize, bass-baritone Jenisbek Piyazov sang Masetto in Mozart's Don Giovanni during Opera Festival Gut Immling in 2011. This summer from 22 June till 19 August, he is invited again to perform in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro and Handel's Julius Caesar.
