20.12.2017On the eve of the 6th International Competition of Vocalists of Byulbyul and Singers' Fair presentation, here you are some statistics. As it is said, the figures speak for themselves.
On competition and fair presentation, 265 applications have been received. The organizing committee received them from 18 countries. They were applications from England, Bulgaria, Spain, Poland, the Republic of Korea, the U.S., and Japan. Among applicants are winners and finalists of famous opera competitions, including "Operalia" of Placido Domingo, and «BBC Cardiff The Singer of the World». This means that the International Competition of Vocalists of Byulbyul has grown in its credibility and reputation.Most applications have come from young singers from Russia, there are 41 of them. 10 singers will compete for the second time at our contest. For the first time, which is unique in the world, the singers' fair presentation will be held for casting directors of international theaters. 135 applications have been received in total.Again, for the first time ... selection of singers was fullfilled on the ground of their video recordings. At the end, respectively, 66 and 47 young singers became participants of the contect and singers' fair.Azerbaijan will be presented by nine singers at the competition, and by two at singers' fair.
